Over the past four years I have made a point to find job and volunteer opportunities in my field of education, I did them to help prepare myself for my future teaching career. Please observe some of my experiences below…
– Two years working in daycare child care: My main responsibility was working with children who had special needs. Some other responsibilities included writing personal progress plans [PPPs] for those children, planning group activities, supervision, working with parents and other staff to develop children, and role modelling)
– Early Childhood Education Play and Expiration Workshop (2013)
– Early Childhood Education Finger Puppet Workshop (2013)
– Volunteer Coaching: over the past four years I have volunteered to coach high school football spring camps for Catholic Central High School in Lethbridge Alberta. I also volunteered time to coach the Alberta summer games team south select team (2012).
– University of Regina bachelors of education program (volunteer opportunities through classes both in the community and in the classroom, classroom lessons)
